A fully interactive major incident training where all
responders—scene, transport, hospitals, coordination,
and command—train together. Includes triage and patient
management with police, rescue, and military medical units.
After one prep day, participants engage in two full simulation
days using the MACSIM system, with trauma scenarios from terrorist
attacks and military conflicts. Special focus on civil and military collaboration.
MRMI has trained more than 12 000 professionals since the start 2009.
13 centers around Europe and Asia are active.
The course is supported by ESTES (European Society for Trauma and Emergency Surgery).
