It is true that ECTES as its name implies that it is a congress for surgeons only. However, more and more we realize that trauma and emergency surgery is a team effort, and we have this year been able to design a program that should be interesting for all personnel groups involved in trauma and emergencies in general.
Main arena is the European setting but we have also focused on the humanitarian and global surgical aspects. Whether you are an emergency surgeon involved in trauma or not, or more on the orthopaedic side, or nurses involved in the emergency management of sick patients as nurse anesthetists, scrub nurses or emergency nurses, or anaesthetists in trauma teams, OR, ICU, or working prehospitally, or paramedics, you should all find this great program interesting. By providing feedback on the program after the congress you can also help us improve future congresses😊
Except for an exciting scientific program, we also offer a tremendous opening ceremony with tapas reception afterwards on the Sunday. Monday you will all be invited by the mayor of Oslo to the City Hall for finger food and drinks. Come join us for a great event!
You can hear more about the congress in this podcast (in Norwegian)
